About Pragya
Pragya, established in 1999, is an independent intellectual forum dedicated to fostering meaningful and constructive dialogue and promoting research on key social, economic, cultural and political issues. Over the years, the organisation has hosted influential dialogues and conferences on national security, economic policy, state formation, indigenous thought, WTO, constitutional reforms, journalism, public policy, and issues concerning farmers and education. Many distinguished leaders and thinkers—including former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar Ji, George Fernandes Ji, S. P. Gupta Ji, Prabhash Joshi Ji, Govindacharya Ji, Namvar Singh Ji, and many others—have enriched its platforms with their insights and ideas.
